Must Have
In my opinion, if you don't want to break the monitor, it's definitely a good idea to have „Play With Your Food“ on almost every build, as Ghost Face is known for being very bad at chase and it's not even worth going to a bigger chase if your ambush fails. 15% movement speed and with the Drop-Leg Knife Sheath addon which adds another 10% movement speed for 5 seconds after marking that's a whopping 25%, at that speed they usually don't even make it to the pallet. Perk Nemesis is also a gamechanger, because you don't have to search for obsession, but every time you get a stun, the obsession changes to whoever gave you the stun, thus you have 3 tokens almost the whole game.
Nemesis is optional, but definitely worth at least a try
🔪 Build - Progression Depression
1. Pain Resonance
Value:
Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance provides powerful game slowdown by causing the generator with the most progress to instantly regress significantly when a survivor is hooked on a Scourge Hook. This perk applies consistent pressure on survivors working on generators, forcing them to divert time and effort into regaining lost progress, effectively stalling the game. 2. Grim Embrace
Value:
Grim Embrace rewards Ghost Face’s precision in targeting each survivor. After hooking all four survivors once, all generators are blocked for a significant time. This grants a crucial window to use Night Shroud stealth to locate new targets or stalk survivors without worrying about generator progress, effectively stalling the mid-game. 3. Discordance
Value:
Discordance complements Ghost Face's stalking playstyle perfectly. When two or more survivors work on the same generator, it reveals their location. This allows Ghost Face to sneak up using Night Shroud, potentially exposing one or multiple survivors or surprising groups, disrupting teamwork and gaining control over key objectives. 4. Play With Your Food
Value:
Play With Your Food is an excellent perk for Ghost Face, who benefits greatly from increased speed. By chasing and releasing your Obsession, you gain movement speed tokens that help you traverse the map faster, reach critical areas like generators, and catch survivors off-guard. This speed boost synergizes with Ghost Face's stealth gameplay, allowing for quicker ambushes. Synergies
- Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance and Grim Embrace work together to create significant generator slowdown. Pain Resonance regresses the most progressed generator while Grim Embrace blocks all generators after you hook each survivor once, giving you ample time to apply pressure.
- Discordance reveals high-priority targets (multiple survivors on one generator), enabling you to utilize Night Shroud for stealthy approaches and capitalizing on exposed survivors.
- Play With Your Food boosts your movement speed, allowing for faster rotations between generators revealed by Discordance or chasing survivors after blocking generators with Grim Embrace.
🔪 Build - Speed Demon
1. Nemesis
Value:
Nemesis ensures that when a survivor stuns you with a pallet, they become your Obsession. This perk synergizes well with Play With Your Food, allowing you to cycle through Obsessions and consistently gain speed tokens. Additionally, it punishes survivors for aggressive pallet usage, putting them at risk of being targeted. 2. Play With Your Food
Value:
Play With Your Food grants you movement speed tokens each time you chase and let your Obsession escape. This speed boost is essential for Ghost Face’s playstyle, allowing him to close the distance faster and pressure survivors across the map. Combined with Nemesis, you can easily reset your Obsession and maintain your speed advantage. 3. Coup De Grace
Value:
Coup de Grâce provides a massive lunge boost after a generator is completed, letting you catch survivors off-guard and secure unexpected hits. This perk is particularly effective for Ghost Face, as it enhances his ability to capitalize on stealthy approaches and ambush survivors in open spaces. 4. All Shaking Thunder
Value:
All Shaking Thunder enhances Ghost Face’s ability to regain control of loops by reducing the cooldown of missed attacks. This perk is especially useful when chasing survivors in tight loops or during prolonged chases, ensuring you can stay on the offensive without losing too much time. Synergies
- Nemesis and Play With Your Food work together to consistently cycle Obsessions and keep your movement speed boost active, allowing you to apply constant pressure on survivors.
- Coup de Grâce pairs well with Play With Your Food, enabling you to secure lunges from a greater distance, making it nearly impossible for survivors to escape when you have both perks active.
- All Shaking Thunder complements Coup de Grâce, ensuring you can quickly recover from missed lunges, allowing for aggressive chases and increased pressure on survivors in close quarters.
🔪 Build - Rush & Crush
2. Nemesis
3. Eruption
Value:
Eruption applies generator regression and a survivor incapacitation effect when you kick generators and later down a survivor. This perk allows Ghost Face to punish survivors repairing generators by slowing down their progress and incapacitating them, giving you time to capitalize on your map control and stealth gameplay. 4. Pop Goes The Weasel
Value:
Pop Goes the Weasel provides a large regression boost to generators after hooking a survivor. This perk adds significant slowdown to generator progress, especially when combined with Eruption. Together, these perks ensure that Ghost Face maintains constant pressure on objectives, forcing survivors to repeatedly return to repair generators. Synergies
- Play With Your Food and Nemesis work together to consistently cycle Obsessions and keep your movement speed boost active, allowing you to apply constant pressure on survivors.
- Eruption and Pop Goes the Weasel work together to maximize generator regression. While Pop applies instant regression after a hook, Eruption triggers a delayed regression and incapacitation for additional slowdown.
- Play With Your Food ensures you can rotate between generators efficiently, leveraging the slowdown effects of Eruption and Pop Goes the Weasel to their fullest potential.
🔪 Build - Chase Face
1. Spirit Fury
Value:
Spirit Fury allows you to break pallets instantly after destroying two pallets during the trial. This perk is perfect for Ghost Face when survivors attempt to loop, as it negates the advantage of pallets and forces survivors into risky positions. Combined with his stealth gameplay, Spirit Fury makes it easier to dominate loops and secure hits faster. 2. Enduring
Value:
Enduring reduces the stun duration from pallets by 50%, allowing you to quickly recover and maintain pressure on survivors. This perk works exceptionally well in combination with Spirit Fury, enabling you to aggressively chase survivors without losing valuable time to pallet stuns. 3. Play With Your Food
Value:
Play With Your Food grants you movement speed tokens when you chase and release your Obsession. With the added speed, you can quickly close distances during chases, outmaneuver survivors, and capitalize on Spirit Fury and Enduring to control loops effectively. The extra speed synergizes with Ghost Face's stealth for rapid map traversal and surprise attacks. 4. Nemesis
Synergies
- Spirit Fury and Enduring create an anti-looping combination that allows you to break pallets quickly and recover from stuns faster, maintaining pressure during chases.
- Play With Your Food enhances your mobility around loops and between objectives, ensuring you can quickly capitalize on Spirit Fury and Enduring to dominate survivors.
- Nemesis synergizes with Play With Your Food, Spirit Fury, Enduring and guaranteeing a steady cycle of Obsessions to keep your speed boost active while simultaneously discouraging pallet stuns.
🔪 Build - Hooked on Regression
1. Pain Resonance
Value:
Pain Resonance provides significant slowdown by instantly regressing the generator with the most progress when hooking a survivor on a Scourge Hook. This perk forces survivors to dedicate extra time to generator repairs, increasing pressure and creating opportunities to exploit Ghost Face's stealth abilities. 2. Surge
Value:
Surge applies instant generator regression in the vicinity when you down a survivor with a basic attack. This perk synergizes perfectly with Ghost Face’s stealth ambushes, enabling him to passively slow generator progress while staying focused on the hunt. 3. Play With Your Food
Value:
Play With Your Food grants movement speed tokens when you chase and release your Obsession. This allows Ghost Face to move quickly across the map, pressure objectives, and close gaps on survivors faster. The extra speed complements his ability to ambush survivors effectively. 4. Barbecue & Chilli
Value:
Barbecue & Chilli provides aura reading of survivors outside 40 meters after hooking someone. This information lets Ghost Face quickly locate new targets and capitalize on his stealth. Synergies
- Pain Resonance and Surge combine to apply consistent generator regression. Pain Resonance targets the generator with the most progress, while Surge regresses nearby generators after downing survivors, creating a layered slowdown effect.
- Play With Your Food complements the stealth ambushes enabled by Barbecue & Chilli. After spotting survivors with Barbecue, the speed boost allows you to quickly close distances and initiate stealthy chases.
- Surge ensures passive generator control during chases, enabling you to maintain pressure without having to manually kick every generator.
🔪 Build - Kicker’s Delight
1. Eruption
Value:
Eruption is an excellent slowdown perk that regresses kicked generators when you down a survivor. It also causes any survivors working on those generators to become incapacitated. This pairs perfectly with Ghost Face's ability to sneak up on survivors and down them quickly, creating consistent generator control while disrupting survivor objectives. 2. Pop Goes The Weasel
Value:
Pop Goes the Weasel provides significant generator regression after hooking a survivor. This perk allows Ghost Face to maintain pressure on high-priority generators by instantly removing a chunk of their progress, giving you time to capitalize on the slowdown caused by Eruption. 3. Dragon's Grip
Value:
Dragon's Grip creates a punishment opportunity when survivors interact with a recently kicked generator. Any survivor touching the generator within 30 seconds becomes exposed, allowing Ghost Face to down them in a single hit. This synergizes with his stealth and Play With Your Food for rapid, deadly chases, keeping survivors constantly second-guessing. 4. Play With Your Food
Value:
Play With Your Food gives Ghost Face movement speed tokens. The speed bonus allows you to rotate quickly between objectives and close gaps on exposed survivors from Dragon's Grip, ensuring you can capitalize on their vulnerable state. Synergies
- Eruption and Pop Goes the Weasel work together to maximize generator regression. Eruption triggers regression after a down, while Pop provides an immediate slowdown after a hook.
