Salt and Sanctuary: NPC Quest Guide [Achievements]

The Masterless knight is the first npc quest you can start in the game, when first talking to him make sure to answer yes whenever you can, to start the quest.

There are 6 locations he appears in, making him the npc with the most locations.

• First Location
  The first location he appears in is right outside of The Festering Banquet just before the broken bridge in Bandit's Pass
  Remember to answer Yes when he asks about hearing his quest or he will not appear again
  
  
  
  
• Second Location
  The second location he appears in is The Castle of Storms next to the elevator shortcut outside
  If you kill the Kraekan Wyrm before speaking to him he will not appear again
  
  
  
  
• Third Location
  The third location he appears in is The Red Hall of Cages just outside from the right of the sanctuary, right before the steps
  If you defeat The Tree of Men before speaking to him he will not appear again
  
  
  
  
• Fourth Location
  The fourth location he appears in is Hager's Cavern on the ledge above the sanctuary
  To get there, there's another ledge higher with an Armor mite that you can drop from to land there
  If you defeat The Disembowelled Husk before speaking to him he will not appear again
  
  
  
  
• Fifth Location
  The fifth location he appears in is at the bottom of The Ruined Temple before or after The Coveted is defeated
  There are multiple different ways to reach the bottom of The Ruined Temple, the most common way is to defeat The Coveted to reach the bottom, but you can also travel to the Pitchwoods and go past the Spindlebeast [Ska Studios worst creation] to the left to get there
  Red: Coveted path
  Black: Knight
  Blue: Pitchwoods path
  
  You don't need to beat The Coveted to have him appear there but if you kill Carsejaw the Cruel before speaking to him he will not appear at the final location
  
  
  
  
• Final Location
  The final location he appears in is past Carsejaw The Cruel right before the water in Pitchwoods
  After speaking to him in the fifth location all you need to do is defeat Carsejaw to have him appear here
  

The Despondent Thief has 4 total locations and is the fastest quest line to complete [in my opinion]

• First Location
  The thief first appears above you at an unreachable platform right before the platforms that lead to fighting the Kraekan Wyrm
  To reach her you have to defeat the Kraekan Wyrm
  Once you reach her she rewards you with the Shadowflip Brand
  
  
  
  
  
• Second Location
  The second location she appears is in The Red Hall of Cages right after the fight with the Heartseeker and Red lord, in the pathway that requires the Shadowflip Brand
  
  using the Vertigo Brand to reach the platform at the very top
  
  
  If you defeat The Tree of Men before speaking to her, she won't appear again
  
  
  
  
  
• Third Location
  The third location she appears in is Hager's Cavern at the very top platforms requiring the Shadowflip brand, travelling as high as possible from the sanctuary **Remember to reply Yes so she will appear at the final location**
  
  
  If you defeat The Disembowelled Husk before speaking to her, she won't appear again
  
  
  
• Final Location
  The final location the thief appears in is at The Far Beach sitting on the abandoned raft
  If you have talked to her at all previous locations and replying Yes at the third location she will be here
  

The Black Sands Sorcerer has 3 locations and is the rarest achievement in the game ^_^

• First Location
  The sorcerer first appears in the Ziggurat of Dust after defeating The Dried King
  He rewards you with the Dart Brand [second best movement R.I.P long jump] when you first talk to him
  Make sure to Exhaust all dialogue and reply Yes in order for him to appear in the second location
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Second Location
  The second location he appears in is The Ruined Temple after defeating The Coveted at the top path inside the small Hager's Cave passage, you need to use the Shadowflip and/or Dart brand to get there
  
  
  Again you need to exhaust all dialogue for him to appear in the next location
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Final Location
  After exhausting all dialogue in the first and second locations as well as replying Yes in the first location and defeating The Witch of The Lake and The Coveted , he will appear at the very first area The Shivering Shore in the water
  If you defeat The Witch Of The Lake before The Coveted then he will not appear
  
  After you speak to him he presumably drowns himself Rip
