Gameplay BasicsEnglish
Overview
How it works?
Golden cards are rare collectibles that grant powerful passive bonuses, making the player's life of crime a little smoother.

1) A player can find them hidden around the world, often in hard-to-reach or well-guarded places.
_
2) The higher the difficulty, the more likely the player is to find them as they have a higher spawn rate.

_
3) To activate a Golden card, the player must sell it using the dropbox. That’s how it gets added to the player's active perks.

_
4) The player can check their currently active Golden Cards at any time on the left monitor in the truck.
_

Additional info
Once activated, the bonus lasts until the player fails to fulfill their quota and gets eliminated.
Dying during a mission/map does NOT remove cards — only complete failure does.

If the player wins the game, activated cards will be reset as well. Golden Cards of the same type do not stack. So if more than one is found, saving them in the players base for future runs is recommended!.

So keep your eyes open during every job - you never know when you’ll stumble upon one of these golden beauties as every building has a chance to spawn a golden card.

Golden Card's have around 2-4 set spawn locations per house/building, but only one card can spawn in a house/building per night. I would advise that a player rechecks locations they have previously found a golden card on different nights.

Golden cards have a good chance to spawn in safe's. If there is time to spare, one should try to open them.

Once a game has been won for future rounds the player unlocks the ability to purchase the military receiver furniture, which gives the player an indication of how many golden cards are on the map, and a rough location to where they are.

The scanner tool has a module upgrade that will track and direct the player to Golden Cards location. It also tells them which card it is. This gives the player the ability to better make a decision on whether its worth trying to obtain the card. Since cards change between days one can use this knowledge to reset the day to find a card they are looking for.

Golden cards apply to all players in the lobby.

While Rural and Lakeside street both have 7 possible card spawns, due to lake street's higher building density it is currently the best map at the moment for farming cards.

Card Heirachy
If for some reason the player has to choose between cards these are my rankings which I think are the most useful. A lower ranking does not mean the card does not have value, just that the card may not be as immediately useful as a higher ranked one. My reasoning is spoiler tagged for same reason as the list.

    1. XP: Just essential to getting skills faster

    2. Blind: Just makes life so much easier, no longer does the player have to worry that someone will notice their TV is gone

    3. Deadline: The extra day is really nice

    4. Diamond: great for early game

    5. Silent: Used in conjunction with blind makes the game very easy

    6. Blowtorch: the player gets to skip the safe minigame, swaps rankings with diamond once in mid-game

    7. Dollar: more money

    8. Alarm: sound reduction is very nice, and the player can take more risks with alarms

    9. Ear: reduced hearing is nice

    10. Eye: same as previous but I find the card is less effective than ear since if the player is getting spotted a 20% decrease does not help

    11. Repairs: great once in mid-to-late game

    12. Cop Car: one less set of eyes during chases

    13. Heavyweight: massively boosts heavy loot value

    14. Credits: boost in money for jobs and item requests

    15. Doors: since NPC's don't notice opened windows or if the player relocks the door and opens from the inside it is less useful, but is still useful since the player can be less careful and does save time overall.

    16. Ruthless: Great for late game, also if I am honest, I have not played without this on so I don't know what the penalty was

    17. Fast Delivery: Alright, but often I will just restart the day if I forgot something, maybe better for games with more than one player.

    18. Swift: If the player has a quest to finish early this is fine, but otherwise, not great since the player tends to want all the days of their quota, and the 50% bonus tends to not be worth the tradeoff.

    19. Cameras: could be nice in the early game, but as cameras are in fixed positions, the card is less helpful once the player knows where they are

    20. Trap: same reasoning as cameras

    21. Taser: Nice in theory, but the fast fire rate of NPC's makes it negligible

    22. Police: saves time hiding if the player sets off a chase, but is not a big saving grace

    23. Regeneration: also nice in theory, but unless the player has armor getting hit by a taser one shot's the player, and weapon damage tends not to be that big a concern

    24. Jewelry: Since jewelry is one of the last skills a player will want to take, by the time this even comes into play this golden card is the closest being useless. Maybe it is better in multiplayer where people can diversify earlier on.
