Land Doctrines
Due to recent changes to Doctrine system now a lot of different builds & designs are more viable. Therefore a lot designs will change depending on the doctrines & spirits you have chosen.

Mobile Warfare

This doctrine is popular among Chads.
Best for defense.

This division will be your main Attacking infantry division template. It is not cheap so be very CAREFUL!! on how many division you deploy with this template.

Infantry Line Holders



This division's main goal is to hold the line. Mostly you wanna utilize it on places where you will not attack from or if you have terrain & ground advantage you should use this to hold the line & attack with your offensive divisions elsewhere.
Remove Support AA if enemy Air is weak

For example ; Holding line behind a river.
Deploy them to fronts you are getting constantly attacked from... as they will perform best in this situation

Use this division for guard duty only.

If you are planning to research military police little bit early then you can keep using the default cavalry template ,this will save you some XP for more important division templates.
Otherwise just use this template shown here.

Very expensive design so only worth it late game.

I tested on different chasis to see If we could go for little bit earlier... you can go Improv light 36 if you really need it earlier otherwise go for Basic Med 38

Submarine Design
There is 4 different Submarine Hulls.

1. Early Submarine Hull
2. 1936 Submarine Hull
3. 1940 Submarine Hull
4. 1944 Submarine Hull

EARLY Minelayer Submarine Design

If you play some majors ex: Italy you will see you have some older Submarines (Early Submarine Hull). It’s better to give some of these older models to minelaying role.

So, refit some of these models to this dedicated minelaying design. But if you have to build Submarines for minelaying then its better you use the latest hull you have available as the production cost difference is not much (just 46 in my testing).

1936,1944 Sub models aren't worth it for minelayer design. This version is the most cost effective.

Destroyer Design
EARLY MineLayer+ MineSweeper Destroyer


Same as Submarine... Refit some Early Destroyers if you have with this design...you need only few of these...If you want you can go & add both slots with minelayers... but I added Minesweeper here as I didnt wanna bother building new designs in the middle of war if enemy AI decides to lay mines.

EDIT : After some testing it does not feel worth building as subs just feel superior in mine laying as they are so hard to detect compared to destroyers. But they might still be worth it if you are mine laying in safe regions.

It took a lot more time than I initially expected.As this is not complete yet I'll be adding more as time progresses.

Edit: I see some people complaining about some of the stuff not being meta...well this guide isnt suppose to be meta builds , nowhere have I mentioned this. My main intention of making this guide was to help out new players , as I also had to struggle to learn this game...the game is already quite complex to begin with...I know a lot of players don't wanna bother with optimally designing everything then just wanna play the game... & everything here works for me & will work for majority of the players in singleplayer..
