How to purchase, locate and install the game “Slay the Spire 2”.

You may navigate to the “Steam Store” page (located in the top left, to the right of the left and right arrows that signify forward and backwards progression on “Steam”), you will be greeted with a great many colourful pictures and texts. Most of these are unnecessary. There is a search bar in the top right of the page; you may click on it and type in “Slay the Spire 2”. From there, you may to click on a link that will take you to the game. It will likely look something like this.


Once you click this link, you will be taken to a second page designed for the purchasing of the game “Slay the Spire 2”. Scrolling down, there will be a green button with the text “Add to cart” next to the amount of money required to purchase the game. Once you click “Add to cart”, you may then scroll back up and click on the “Cart” button in the top right of your “Store” page.

This will take you to a third page containing a list summarising your “Cart”. If you see “Slay the Spire 2” in this list, you may progress to clicking the “Continue to payment button”.

This will take you to a fourth page which, depending on your wallet balance and history with using the “Steam” platform, may vary. I do not have time to explain this part to you, you can work it out.

You have now purchased “Slay the Spire 2”.

Then, navigate to your “Steam Library” (the button should be to the right of your “Steam Store” button). If you are lucky, “Slay the Spire 2” will be in your “Recent Games” tab on account of you having bought it recently. If it is not, that is okay, I will explain how to find it.

Move your mouse cursor over to the left window of your “Steam Library” and click on the section next to the magnifying glass icon. Text that says something like “Search by Name” might appear, but calm down because this is normal.


Once you have clicked on it, you may type “Slay the Spire 2”. If you successfully completed “Step 1”, “Slay the Spire 2” will appear in your search results. If it does not, try “Step 1” again or try a different guide or maybe a different game.

Click “Slay the Spire 2” and you will be taken to a page for the game “Slay the Spire 2”.

There will be a big blue button that says “Install”. You may press it and “Steam” will notify you of how much space the game will take up and if you have enough space on your computer to install it. You should have enough space, you should have prepared, you knew the game was coming out. So you will have enough space, and you will press the second big blue button that says “Install”, and the game will begin to install.

You do not need to do anything else, the game is installing via the “Steam” client, so you do not have to worry about installing it yourself anymore.
