National Institute of Justice (NIJ)
Gray Zone Warfare uses the Vest/body armor system of the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) levels/tiers. It goes from IIA (lowest) to IV (highest).
The plus symbol (+) means the vest is upgraded, an A is always worse then any counterpart and even a IIA+ is worse than a II by itself.

The order of NIJ protection levels is as follows (worst to best)
In GZW right now the highest level of armor is III+
On the top left corner, when you inspect a vest or body armor, you see which areas are protected by the west (Front, Back, Sides).
