Introduction
Is it harder or easier to achieve 100% trophies in MH Wilds compared to World or Rise?

Rejoice, my fellow hunters, because it's immensely easier to complete Wilds than both of its predecessors. Capcom has implemented MANY QoL elements that will make the ordeal much more smoother and straightforward, there won't be any more measuring monsters with our naked eye while hunting for Crowns or running twenty times the same quest just to obtain a monster Gem.

As it is, the game won't require more than 80 hours (ish) to complete, and most of the achievements are self explanatory; for anything else that requires more effort and a well-thought method of execution, I'm here to spare you the frustrating process of browsing through Reddit.
Crown Hunting
What's new?

First of all, hunting for Miniature and Giant Crowns won't be as excruciating as it was in Worlds and Rise (sighs of relief). Wilds has a new, insanely useful item called Binoculars that will tell you right away if a monster holds a Miniature or Giant Crown just by looking at it. Crazy right?


Moreover, when you spot any Crown holding monster you can open your Map and select the "Save as Investigation" feature, which will allow you to permanently store the Investigation for said monster in your Investigation List, up to 3 attempts, keeping the monster's size unchanged.
This will allow you to share or trade Crown Investigations with other players and complete your Pokédex five times as fast.

You can find tons of players ready to trade (or host for free) in the MH Wilds' discord server[discord.com], which I used myself and greatly helped me with my last 10-15 Crowns.

At last, the Arena is your friend. In MH Wilds the Arena is called Wounded Hollow and it will always host one monster, which rotates with time. Once the Arena has a monster you're interested in, you can reroll the monster's size by changing map and coming right back; the monster will stay the same (until it expires and a new one comes in) but the size will change each time you leave and come back.
The same method works as well if you leave the game without saving and reconnecting.

Pro tip: always scout for Apex predators' Crowns, as they appear to be harder to find than regular monsters' ones and every chance you get it's a good chance.
Apex predators are the Uth Duna, Rey Dau, Nu Udra and Jin Dahaad, which has a fixed size and it's not required towards the achievement progress.
Explorer of the Eastlands
Explorer of the Eastlands requires you to obtain 10 different special items of rarity 6. Why is this an issue? Because 8 of the 10 items can only be aquired under certain conditions and forcing these conditions by Resting at Camp is time consuming, unefficient, and incredibly tedious.
The total amount of rarity 6 special items in the game is 11, but you'll only need 10 to trigger the achievement.

So, to begin with: do not ignore Emergencies when they pop-up on your screen.
Emergencies are special time-limited events that randomly happen in your maps, and it's best to pay attention to them when you get the chance, it takes a couple minutes and your future self will be grateful to you when the time comes (my present self despises my past self for not having done that).

There are (as far as I know) 8 different Emergencies that can trigger in the game and each of them will drop 1 unique special item required for the achievement.

If you miss an Emergence, you can keep track of any upcoming ones by checking the Forecast tab in your Environment Overview.
Forecast is a detailed chart of time windows tied to Monsters, Emergencies, Outbreaks and Upsurges. It basically tells you when and for how long any of the aforementioned things will be present in your maps. Resting at Camp rerolls your whole world and changes your Forecast; if you're gonna get a new Emergence or not is pure RNG (which sucks).

Moreover, there are 3 special rarity 6 items that have a different drop source.

One of them is the Wyvernsprout, which is hardly an efficient item to gather, since it requires you to harvest from bodies of dead monsters once they become Bonepiles. This is the one item out of the existing 11 that I don't recommend investing time on.

The last 2 special items are the Nightflower Pollen and the Queensbloom Pollen, which don't require any Emergence and can be forced at any given time by Resting at Camp.

The best way to obtain Nightflower Pollen is through a full-moon night from an Ephemeral Blossom flower, an easy way to force it is to reach HR 21 and unlock Y'sai's side quest "A Leviathan's Temper", which will require you to hunt a Tempered Balahara; the quest should always be set in a full-moon night in the season of Plenty, in the Windward Plains. Run the quest and reach the area showed below, wait a minute or so for the flower to bloom.
If for some reasons the quest doesn't hold a full moon, Rest at Camp in open world until the weather is at three quarters of a full moon, then start the quest.


At last, Queensbloom Pollen spawns only during evenings of the season of Plenty, Scarlet Forest, harvested from Queen Rafflesia plants; Rest until all those conditions are met and look for the Queen Rafflesia icon in your Fast Travel List, set a waypoint and your Seikret will automatically bring you to the plant.
A-fish-ionado
A-fish-ionado is an achievement that requires you to reel in 30 whoppers while fishing. Before spending countless hours trying to fish with little to no success, there are a couple things I wanna tell you.

First off, don't bother looking for any fish that isn't a Gastronome Tuna. Based on my experience, among all the fishes that count towards the achievement, this is the absolute best choice for many reasons.

Gastronome Tuna will instantly take your bait (tuff joint bait, fast reel) if you just wiggle it a tiny bit in front of them. I spent many hours trying to fish different kind of fishes just for them to take a shameless amount of time.
(Gajau is also a decent choice (duster rig, slow reel) but it never seems to latch onto my fishing rod for some reasons, no matter what I do (maybe it's a skill issue).


You can find up to (my guess) 4 Gastronome Tuna in the Area 17 of Scarlet Forest each time you Rest at Camp, which is insanely close to the fishing spot, allowing you to min-max your time economy way better than any other combination I tried in the game.
Just TP to your Area 17 Camp, Rest (set time to Morning, Plenty), climb down the cliff to the sea shore, fish all the Tunas, rinse and repeat.

Now, the reeling minigame isn't hard by itself, but it isn't intuitive either. I went for the old classic trial and error until I got the hang of it, but if you need extra help the video below explains the gimmick extremely well (02:35 start).

3 or 4 Tunas each Rest will require an investement of 8-9 runs and 2400-2700 Guild Points, since the achievement asks for 30 whoppers. Believe me, this is so good.
Conclusion
As far as the game goes, this is everything I believe it's necessary to know in order to save a consistent amount of time trying to obtain the related achievements, anything else is fairly easy, intuitive or passively-gained, so don't think about it too much and enjoy the game to the fullest.
