The Setup
The general idea is to move as FAST as possible. Get into the mall within seconds instead of minutes, find Kibba instead of painstakingly clearing your way through the mall, kill him, and get out.
A successful run takes all of 5-10 minutes, and with a roughly 20% success rate...this saves a LOT of time over the conventional method.
Let's dig in.
The base is also important, but not the crux of this guide. Still, for the record, my base setup is as follows:
Gym - Increases carry weight, stamina, and stamina recovery. Good for the strat.
Infirmary - Allows the crafting of meds and decreases bleed damage/likelihood. Good for the strat.
Shooting Range - Increases shooting damage and experience gain. Not very important for the strat.
Kitchen - Allows the crafting of food items, decreases the rate of hunger/thirst gain, and makes food items more effective. Not very important for the strat.
Ammo Bench - Allows the crafting of ammunition. Not important for the strat.
Workshop - Allows for the crafting of repair kits and the repair of equipment. Not important for the strat.
As for weapon skills, there's only one truly relevant skill.

I recommend it, but it isn't absolutely necessary.

The Build
We'll need this to preserve our speed- sometimes we DO get clipped by a critter and without this perk we grind to a halt. Not good.
This makes us faster, (priority #1), and we WILL be under 50% max weight (almost) at all times. Being able to sprint freely is imperative.
This makes us faster, (priority #1), gives us more space for gunroom loot, and we don't need more than one weapon anyway.
The mall is a dangerous place and this minimizes our time spent there, especially out in the open. Strong recommendation, but could be a wildcard/replaceable.
The mall is a dangerous place, and situational awareness is nice. I picked this over night eyes because we need to be able to see what's on the screen easily, clearly, and quickly. And most of the biggest dangers in the mall can see pretty well in the dark anyway. Because of these two things, daytime is just the better time to try this strat. Wildcard/replaceable.
This makes us WAY faster, (priority #1), and we're going to have an open hand so it's always available.
The mall is a dangerous place and, like lootgoblin, this minimizes our time spent exposed. This perk may be bugged and cause items to only heal half their value in addition to only taking half the time to apply. Wildcard/replaceable.

The Equipment
Hands
One weapon which is universally-effective. I prefer the .45 vrizz sector because of its incredibly high fire rate, extremely low recoil, large magazine, short muzzle length, and its ammo's penetration rating of 35 (70% chance to pen Class 4, but 30% or less versus Class 5+).
This weapon is mostly used to eliminate creatures, but having a backup option to use on an injured Kibba or to fight your way out of a dead end corner is valuable.
Oh, and one more defining feature: You can get Run and Gun as the 3rd SMG perk, (also available for Pistols and Shotguns), letting you fire and reload as you sprint around and bounce off the walls. Very important for minimizing blink nibbles.
Armor
Fo0k 2
It must be Class 3 or less to benefit from the Nudist perk, and this suit offers the best blend of protection (especially vs the radiation leading up to the mall) and low fragility.
Backpack
ZXOP-500
It's all about that big 12% speedboost.
Hotbar
4x Sterile Bandages
2x Advanced Medikits
2x Standard Medikits
6x Improvised Medikits
1x Grenade
The healing supplies and arrangement are up to personal preference, just keep in mind you WILL be taking a lot of damage and wanting to recover as quickly as possible.
Pack 1 grenade in case Kibba glitches out/for contingencies.
Inventory
1x Stack of ammo
1x Armor repair kit
1x Injury kit
Any keys you want
And the holy grail, the key to this run, 1x PMN Anti-Tank mine.
Keep in mind you'll have to open your inventory (you better have a good hotkey for this) right-click this mine, and then click "use" to make use of it.
This ♥♥♥♥ isn't streamlined, and you need some capacity for skill to make use of this strat. Hopefully though, it's a low-enough bar for most people to make significant savings..
The Run
Step 1:
As previously stated, always show up during the daytime. As the train leaves, swap to your empty hands and open your map.
I recommend sticking to the widest highways, as they offer the fewest roadblocks and best sightlines, don't worry about radiation/anomalies your suit can handle it, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WE'RE FLYING
Obviously, don't bother fighting or looting anything. We're not here for that. We're here for Kibba.
what was that, 30 seconds?
Step 2
We're here. First things first: are you being attacked? If so, smash that E button again and start improvising from one of the other entrances (have fun!). Otherwise, start forward.
Take a quick peek in here as you go by to make sure there aren't any ghouls hanging around, and eliminate them if they are. This spot might be valuable momentarily.
Now, in my experience, Kibba can spawn in a few different places and I have favorite lurespots to bait him towards, pending where I find him. To that end, I'll list them in order of appearance as we enter the courtyard, hang a left, and go up the left side of the yard towards the gunstore.
The cafe.
You'll use this if you find Kibba staring straight into your eyes (and shooting you in the face) before you even reach the courtyard. Beware the ghoul spawn in the back rooms, and Kibba pathing around the tables for some reason. Plant the mine in the hallway here and then, once he starts shooting at you again, run south and around the corner to heal/get out your gun/wait for the boom. The backroom.
You'll use this if you run into Kibba hanging around south west of the pizzeria. Make sure he sees you enter, get down to this spot and start planting the mine, then, once he starts shooting at you again, run left and around the corner to heal/wait. Usually this store is empty this early in the raid. (no spawns encountered)The wooden bar.
A good one, you'll use this if you find Kibba right around the corner intersection. Like the previous spot, let him see you enter, start planting the mine and then run left once he starts shooting at you again. This spot has the added benefit of being able to circle around the central dividing wall and further lure him if he gets stuck/pauses for some reason (though he rarely does). Usually this store is empty this early in the raid. (no spawns encountered)The gunstore.
This is a spot to take if he's left the store and headed towards the library, or he got past the intersection towards the supermarket. It's ok, but beware being shot through the glass. Also, there's a random spawner in the backroom: I've found bandits, blinks, and watchers back there, but only a few times in total. The library.
Use this if he's in the gunstore and you have to sprint past it, or if he's wandered off towards the gym. Make sure you place the mine IMMEDIATELY BESIDE the bookshelves/aisles, otherwise you'll trap yourself in there/you'll let him run right past the mine. You should be able to inch past it on the right if you place it correctly. Beware the blink spawn in the back room, and kiss your butt goodbye if he has good grenade aim in here.Just keep in mind: he WILL die to Bigs, he Will die to infestations, he Will die to watcher parties, (and he often blows himself up), so try not to aggro him into any of those if you can avoid it.
So, you've killed Kibba, you've got his key, now what?
Well, head for the gunstore and start looting. Hopefully you've got some practice with the "Eye for Value" perk, but if not:
Sights, advanced mags, and advanced rifle bodies are all good value, low weight, and we've got the room to spare for them.
Ammo is the real work horse for profit, but it'll push the line on your weight so watch out- AP/BT/BP are all good options (just look for the black tip), and if you've got the weight to spare regular 9x39 and 7.62x51 are also good options.
Don't bother with the PRK or his armor, they're too heavy.
And if you really want to haul out more than half your max weight, keep in mind you can stow your primary weapon for an extra 10kg capacity and sprint for the exit. Just make sure you re-equip it and go more slowly towards the extract.
And that's that! Rinse, repeat, and good hunting!
