How to edit max doctrine points

Method 1

Easiest way.

1. Download this mod:

this mod IS NOT incompatible with other mods that overrides units.xml, if you want other mods compatibility - use manual method


Done.

Method 2

Note: this method changes variables in files that will likely be overwritten with game updates, you will likely have to do this every time the game is updated.

1. Open game directory
(usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DoorKickers2)


2. Find "units.xml"
located on DoorKickers2\data\units


3. Find "doctrinePointsPerSquadLevel"
lines 92, 191, 288

4. Change variable on whatever you want, 4 is enough to unlock everything


5. Save

6. Check it in game

Method 3

So, lets say you`re using "Character Capacity" or "More CIA Dudes and Squad Unlocker" or any mods that overrides units.xml and you want more doctrine points with whatever mod you`re using, here is how to do it:

1. Open DK2 Workshop folder, DK2 id is 1239080
(usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1239080)


2. Find a mod that changes units.xml, ill take "More CIA Dudes and Squad Unlocker" for an example


3. Find units.xml in that mod folder and open it.


4. Find "doctrinePointsPerSquadLevel"
Lines 92, 191, 288 for vanilla units (Rangers, SWAT, CIA)
WARNING: If you`re using mods that add other type of units, you need to also find their lines for "doctrinePointsPerSquadLevel" and edit it, you can find them by pressing Ctrl+F

5. Change variable on whatever you want, 4 is enough to unlock everything


6. Save

7. Check it in game


Note: If you`re using this method, DO NOT subscribe to "More doctrines mod'.

1. If you`re using manual method described in Block 2.2 you have to do this every time the game is updated.

2. If you`re using manual combine method described in Block 2.3 you have to do this every time the mod is updated.

3. Also, to get all the doctrine points, first you need to fully level up the squad, to do it quickly, you can use my map made for that purpose.
