Infographic
This simplified infographic provides an image-based overview of how to tackle the day-three bosses, to be used for swift consultation before each run. Status effects and weapon types have been neglected to keep it short and simple.

Legend
  • Day-Three Boss: Each of the three bosses has certain weaknesses that can be exploited, and the same goes for their more powerful variant (purple-tinged emblem).

  • Official Effectiveness: Each day-three boss is susceptible to a certain type of elemental damage or status effect that puts them in a special state, with the exception of Dreglord. Depending on the boss, this can result in various player-beneficial effects, such as increased damage, damage over time, debuffs or stuns. This category is not to be confused with a mere weakness to an elemental type of damage or to a status effect. For example, Tricephalos's official effectiveness is holy damage which not only deals increased damage against him (due to his low resistance), but also inflicts damage over time, reduces his damage output (debuff) and stuns him briefly under certain circumstances.

  • Build Alternatives: If you don't gain access to the necessary weapons, spells or status effects to exploit a boss's official effectiveness during the course of a run, this column suggests alternative options and ideas for your build primarily in the form of elemental damage. Status effects and weapon types are excluded to keep the infographic short and simple.

  • Avoid: This column simply shows the type of elemental damage and amount of elemental damage reduction you do against the day-three boss. You can use this information to decide which characters to pick and which build routes to avoid during the run.
