Misty Maze: Simple Directions for Free Roam mode

Context
This guide assumes you are playing Free Roam mode and have already followed the red roses through the maze, and defeated the boss. The directions start from the boss room and simply say which exit of the screen to take to reach the end of the maze.

You should now be done with the maze and have access to the teleporter at the end. The fog should be cleared from the maze, which will let you explore the rest as you like.
