The Workshop is where you create and upgrade the tools, weapons, and gadgets that keep you alive in Arc Raiders. Every player starts with a basic workbench, giving access to fundamental weapons and most types of ammunition right away.
Each workbench can be upgraded to a maximum of level 3, unlocking new crafting options and more advanced gear as you progress. Upgrades require specific materials, so gathering resources is key to expanding your capabilities.
Blueprints are essential to crafting. They determine what items can be produced at each workbench. You’ll usually find them in locked-room loot containers (either ones that require breach or ones that require a keycard) or as rewards from quests.
Before a blueprint can be used, it must be extracted FIRST!. Once you return to Speranza, consuming the blueprint adds it to the appropriate workbench, allowing you to craft the item it unlocks. (In order to make sure you don't lose them after finding them, it's a good idea to store it in your Safe Pocket as soon as you find one.)

You're now fully equipped to use every workbench efficiently.
Across all seven stations, the biggest difference between a smooth early game and a painful grind is simple: collect the right components before you actually need them. Most upgrades don't demand rare items, they demand consistency.
✓ Always loot the basics
Metal Parts, Rubber Parts, Fabric, Plastic Parts, and Chemicals might look boring, but they are the backbone of almost every Level 1 bench. Never walk past them early on.
✓ Don't ignore enemy drops
Drivers, Cores, Cells, and similar "creature loot" are some of the most valuable items in the entire game. They unlock your Level 3 tiers, and missing even one can stall progression.
✓ Scrap smart, not often
If you're short on Parts, scrap low-tier armor, tools, or weapons instead of rare items. Early-tier gear breaks down into exactly the components you'll always need.
✓ Craft strategically
Just because you can craft something doesn't mean you should. Save high-value resources for:
