Lost Records: Bloom & Rage - 100% Achievements

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is a story-driven adventure game featuring 49 Steam achievements.

General

• Both tapes (Tape 1: Bloom & Tape 2: Rage) are divided into replayable scenes.
  
• Collectibles and miscellaneous achievements can be cleaned up in Collectible Mode.

Collectibles

• There are 22 Collectible Memoirs, each requiring video footage of certain subjects.
  
• Scenes must be fully completed or replayed for (new) recorded subjects to count.
  
• Not all subjects must be recorded for 100% achievement completion.
  
• Extra subjects are not listed in this guide to keep it concise and to avoid redundancy.

Missable Achievements

• 'Documentary Filmmaker' for recording a new subject in Collectible Mode.
  
• 'Butterfly Effect' for altering the story in Tape 1 - Scene 6 and Scene 7.
  
• 'Partners in Time' for unlocking Autumn's extra scene in Tape 2 - Scene 6 (see notes below).
  
• 'Breakfast Club' for unlocking Nora's extra scene in Tape 2 - Scene 8 (see notes below).
  
• 'Dead Poets Society' for unlocking Kat's extra scene in Tape 2 - Scene 9 (see notes below).

The achievements 'Partners in Time' (Autumn), 'Breakfast Club' (Nora), and 'Dead Poets Society' (Kat) require strong relationships with Autumn, Nora, and Kat in the 1995 epoch. Throughout the game, you can choose dialogue options to either weaken or strengthen your friendship, indicated by a heart or broken heart symbol.

To unlock all three achievements in a single playthrough, consistently select the heart options to reach at least New Friend status in Tape 1 and BFFs status in Tape 2 (status will be shown at the end of each tape). Heart options are typically associated with being honest, helpful, empathetic, optimistic, and confident. Remain silent if only timed negative options are available, and prioritize Autumn if you must choose between two of your friends (most of her interactions are early in the game, making it the most time-consuming achievement if you miss it).

The most important choices are in the below listed scenes. Try to complete these scenes with the maximum amount of heart options:

• Autumn: Tape 1 - Scene 7 & Tape 2 - Scene 6
  
• Nora: Tape 1 - Scene 17 & Tape 2 - Scene 7
  
• Kat: Tape 1 - Scene 23

If you concluded Tape 1 with a We're Cool status (lowest status) for Autumn or Kat, and therefore missed their friendship-related achievements, you can use the scenes listed above as starting points for a second (partial) playthrough in Story Mode. If you reached the New Friend status in Tape 1 but still missed one of their friendship-related achievements, it's sufficient to replay the scene with the achievement trigger in Tape 2 in Collectible Mode. For Nora's achievement, you can replay from Tape 2 - Scene 7 in Story Mode, no matter which status you reached at the end of Tape 1.

Please note that if you replay a scene in Story Mode, all subsequent scenes will be locked again!

Directorial Debut
Watched your very first Memoir compilation.



Memoirs are an integral part of the gameplay. They are introduced in Scene 3 and are compiled from clips capturing subjects such as items, animals, and sceneries. While some Memoirs are story-related, others are optional and require additional exploration (see section 'Collectibles').

Replaced footage in a Memoir.

Partners in Time
Resolved Autumn's break down.



In Scene 6, help Autumn recover from her panic attack. First, select these options in the cabin:

• What's going on?
  
• We should stick together.
  
• I'll help... if that's what you want.

Then, find her purple toothbrush and proceed with the following options:

• I should have called you.
  
• We didn't know Kat would get hurt.
  
• I'll find it for you!

Now, find her 'Highest Score' gaming magazine and ask her if you could still be friends.

If available, teach Autumn a word game next (not mandatory for the achievement):

• Autumn's sick skater poster.
  
• Your comfy shirt.
  
• The way home...
  
• An old bed, older than us...

Finally, show Autumn the Fawn's Rest / Fawn's Curse video. When she wants to leave, run after her and hug her. If she trusts you, she will drop her backpack and stay with you.






Breakfast Club
Recounted the full infiltration to Nora.



In Scene 8, successfully infiltrate Kat's house:

1. Tell Nora to hide behind the chair, then move the wagon in front of you.
   
2. Ask for Kat's help, then sneak towards the door.

Now, simultaneously walk left with Corey and hide behind the bushes as soon as Corey stops walking. Note that you also must walk up towards the bushes. Otherwise, Corey will spot you.






Dead Poets Society
Supported Kat in her decision



In Scene 9, help Kat cut her hair or cut it yourself. The achievement only unlocks if she would trust you to do it. If she insists on doing it herself, the relationship status is too low.

Collectible Memoirs are compiled from clips of optional subjects. Scenes containing optional subjects are marked with a VHS videocassette symbol in the Scene Selection menu, along with a counter indicating the number of unique subjects available.

Note that the same subject can appear in multiple scenes, and not every unique subject is necessarily required to fully compile a Collectible Memoir. For example, the 'Graffiti' Memoir only requires clips of 10 graffiti subjects, even though there are at least 50 unique graffiti subjects in the game—each counted separately in the Scene Selection menu.


In Story Mode, recorded subjects are saved upon reaching the next checkpoint. However, in Collectible Mode, scenes must be fully replayed for new subjects to be counted.
