ALL Cosmetics Guide [ + ROOTS (WIP)]

This guide is currently up to date as of 11/8/2025, however the image for the skeleton costume is currently missing, other than that, it's fully complete information wise!

Ribbon Bow - Knot Tying Badge
Unlock Method: Place 100m of Rope in one expedition.



Eye Patch - Plunderer Badge
Unlock Method: Open 15 Luggage in a single expedition.



Broken Glasses - Bookworm Badge
Unlock Method: Read all of Scoutmaster Myre's journal entries.


Notes:
You can find the journal entries at random, however when you find one it often spawns in the same place between runs, though this does seem to be based on chance. You can read the same scroll for a different page across subsequent runs.


Disguise - Leave No Trace Badge
Unlock Method: Escape the island without placing anything on it.



Sunglasses - Astronomy Badge
Unlock Method: Whilst standing in the light in the Mesa, look at the sun with the binoculars.


Scratch Marks - Megaentomology Badge
Unlock Method: Survive an Antlion Attack.



Third Eye - Calcium Intake Badge
Unlock Method: Block 100 total damage with the Fortified Milk.

Anime Eyes - Bouldering Badge
Unlock Method: Place 10 Pitons



Realistic Eyes - Arborist Badge
Unlock Method: - Reach the top of a really big tree.


Notes:
You find these trees exclusively in the jungle segment of the island each day.
It is much easier to get to the top of the tree from higher up in the mountain, keep an eye out for a vine connected to the top.


Monster Eyes - Gourmand Badge
Unlock Method: Escape after cooking and eating a Yellow Winterberry, Coconut Half, Honeycomb, and an egg.


Inverted Eyes - Mentorship Badge
Unlocked Method: Have a 1-on-1 with the Scoutmaster.


Notes:
For those struggling to achieve this badge, you can spawn him easily in a co-op session by travelling around 400-500m above another player, bear in mind this achievement is currently bugged and can only be obtained by the host of the lobby. It is hard to say whether or not this badge is achieved via witnessing Scoutmaster Myers or being the target of him. Regardless, the only way to spawn him other than the method listed above is by using the "Scoutmaster's Bugle" which is a relatively rare item you can only find in Ancient Luggage.

Vampire Fangs - Toxicology Badge
Unlock Method: Restore 200 total poison by using items. (Antidote, Med-kit, Cure-All)



^ Mouth - Gourmand Badge
Unlock Method: Escape after cooking and eating a Yellow Winterberry, Coconut Half, Honeycomb, and an egg.


Stuck Out Tongue - Foraging Badge
Unlock Method: Eat 5 different berries in a single expedition.



Cannibal - Resourcefulness Badge
Unlock Method: Give in to your hunger.

Castaway Outfit - Participation Badge
Unlock Method: Have a friend escape the island without you.



Russel's Outfit - Balloon Badge
Unlock Method: Escape the island without taking fall damage.



Vacation Outfit - Volcanology Badge
Unlock Condition: Climb past the Caldera.



Scout Cookies Uniform - Happy Camper Badge
Unlock Condition: Receive 5 Morale Boosts from campfires.



Sailor Outfit - Emergency Preparedness Badge
Unlock Method: Heal an unconscious friend with an item to save them from death.


Scoutmaster's Outfit - Survivalist Badge
Unlock Method: Escape the island without ever losing consciousness.



Cowboy Outfit - Cool Cucumber Badge
Unlock Method: Climb past the Mesa without ever getting more than 10% Heat.



Astronaut's Outfit - Aeronautics Badge
Unlock Method: Achieve Flight (6 Balloons)



Bundled Up Outfit - Bundled Up Badge
Unlock Method: Climb past The Alpine without ever having more than 20% Cold.


Gnome Outfit - Forestry Badge
Unlock Method: Climb past the Roots.



Plague Doctor's Attire - Tread Lightly Badge
Unlock Method: Climb past the Roots without ever having more than 25% spores.



Mummy Body Wrap - Web Security Badge
Unlock Method: Escape a spider's web and survive.



Ultimate Climber's Outfit - Disaster Response Badge
Unlock Method: Pull an unconscious friend 30m with the Rescue Claw.



Skeleton Costume - Applied Esoterica Badge
Unlock Method: Use the Book of Bones to revive a dead player.

Wolf Ears - Lone Wolf Badge
Unlock Method: Escape the island in a solo expedition.

Unlock Method: Complete Ascent 7



Desert Hat - Nomad Badge
Unlock Method: Climb past the Mesa.



Visor - Ultimate Badge
Unlock Method: Catch a Flying Disc from 100m away.



Sun Hat - Needlepoint Badge
Unlock Method: Have 5 or more mini-cactuses stuck to you at the same time.



Cowboy Hat - Cool Cucumber Badge
Unlock Method: Climb past the Mesa without ever having more than 10% Heat.



Bing Bong Hat - 24 Karat Badge
Unlock Method: While in the Mesa, locate the entrance to the Tomb. Navigate the parkour puzzle and collect the Ancient Idol at the end. Carry the idol to the Kiln where it must be dropped into the lava.

Stunt Helmet - Daredevil Badge
Unlock Method: Shoot across the Mesa's canyon in a Scout Cannon.



Astronaut's Helmet - Aeronautics Badge
Unlock Method: Achieve Flight (6 Balloons)



Pumpkin Hat - Undead Encounter Badge
Unlock Method: Cure yourself from a zombie bite.



Mummy Face Wrap - Web Security Badge
Unlock Method: Escape a spider's web and survive.



Antlers - Advanced Mycology Badge
Unlock Method: Try all 5 types of Shroomberry in a single expedition.



Gnome Disguise - Forestry Badge
Unlock Method: Climb past the Roots.



Plague Doctor's Hat - Tread Lightly Badge

Ultimate Climbing Hat - Disaster Response Badge

Drinking Cap - Competitive Eating Badge
Unlock Method: Eat 3 Hot Dogs in 5 seconds or less.



Blooming Cap - Mycoacrobatics Badge
Unlock Method: Bounce up 40m off a mushroom.



Sprout Hat - Cryptogastronomy Badge
Unlock Method: Cook and eat a Mandrake.
